Another new year, another chance?

It is the 3rd day of the New Year and I am already frustrated with myself. Let me first do a quick little recap of my life from the last time I blogged.

1. I haven't finished the book yet.

2. I resumed my interrupted teaching career.

Everything happened very suddenly, and I am actually thrilled with my new position. It's a nice school, and our family has been saved from financial doom. I am very disappointed (with myself) that I didn't finish my book before I began again. The family is adapting fairly well to the new schedule, I think. The stress of working again (and even positive change is stressful) caused an outbreak of shingles, which thwarted my idealistic plans to finish the book over winter break, which ends this Thursday.

I have to figure out how to be a working mother, effective teacher, devoted gardener and a writer simultaneously. Oh, yeah, and I ought to get in shape this year, while being frugal and paying off debts/saving money.

I want this to happen. 2011 will be the year.

I've started taking multivitamins. I have a feeling I will need them.
