Momentum

The thesaurus should come with a warning label. At one point today, I found myself seriously considering the merits of Ligature Girl.

For a heroine.

Synonym and root word madness takes over, and I'm left with a small sense of shame that I know what a ligature is.

Moving on. Well, from ligatures at least, because I can't seem to move past finding these alter ego identities.

There are other items on the Master To Do List. There's a countdown clock. It's not even a Plan B situation, because superhero naming wasn't on today's goal sheet after the amount of frustration I walked away from last night's writing session still carrying (in my neck and shoulders mostly, if you were curious). Today was going to be "design the city and give addresses to the children" day.

My persnickety left brain is insisting that I finish the superhero names already though so I can check it off of the list. I am stuck, and being held hostage by half of my brain.

In another room, my husband is watching the SuperBowl and relaxing. It's time to bake a loaf of bread for the week, take a few deep breaths, maybe watch some of the funny commercials, and take care of the poor address-less children. Maybe I can knock my left-brain unconscious with a few rice krispy treats...
