This week's offering is a book that can be shared with any junior men (or junior women, too!). Sharing books between father and child is an enriching experience. Sometimes (okay, every time) Mom gets in on the book action too. It's a big part of raising readers.
On to the book!
"The Lightning Thief" by Rick Riordan! This is the first book in his Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. We have the entire series. It is wonderfully fun.
Criteria met: Epic storytelling- ancient Greek style, modern setting.
