Calling All Cheerleaders!

The really big idea smacked me across the face over Christmas vacation.

I wrote it down and tried to forget it. We had house guests. I was in the middle of another project.

The characters kept popping into my head at the strangest moments.

"Remember us," they demanded at the deli counter, as I ordered a pound of tavern ham and lacy Swiss.

"Tell the story," they demanded while I was in the bubble bath with J.D. Robb (a book- not the author).

By January 1st, the other project was in bed for a really long nap, and the new project was awake.

I am writing a six-book middle grade (ages 8-12) fiction series.

The thought alone sends me running for antacids, yet I want this more than a winning lotto ticket.

I have given myself a deadline. (See the box on the left side for an explanation why.) I need cheerleaders (uniforms not required) to help me get to the finish line. Be supportive, be sarcastic, be yourself, but be here once in awhile. Pretty please?

Every "woohoo!", "go baby go!" and "you'll never make it u hack" will help.

What do I offer in return?
  1. Love.
  2. Cookies, if you live close by and aren't creepy.
  3. Sloppy sentiments on an acknowledgments page when The Beast (not actual title) gets published.
Wish me luck!
